Golf courses

The weather in Southern Costa Blanca is suitable for golf throughout the whole year, and there is a good selection of courses available within a short distance. The closest being La Marquesa, which is only 5 minutes drive away from the apartment.

This golf course is located in a flat valley between mountains, the layout alternates between long holes and short ones, it has wide fairways interspersed with canals, lakes and other obstacles, but is not excessively difficult and so players of all levels should find it very enjoyable.

La Finca is located just a 15 minute drive away from the apartment, it is the newest golf course in the province of Alicante, situated at the foot of Mount Escotera in the municipality of Algorfa. Designed to host top tournaments, La Finca has the widest variety of greens in the Costa Blanca region, ranging in size from the very large to the very small. 

Villamartin is the most established of the courses in the area, it was host to the 1994 PGA Mediterranean Open, and provides a great golfing challenge whilst being set in a beautiful location, there is a large selection of stylish bars and restaurants nearby, making it a very popular destination. Villamartin is 25 minutes drive from the apartment. 

Las Ramblas is also only 25 minutes drive from the apartment, situated on mountainous ground, with many trees, water hazards, and slopes, this makes for a interesting and enjoyable challenge, described by seasoned golfers as 'not for the faint hearted'.
